Here’s the horchata jug from one of the nicest vendors on Roosevelt Avenue. Between Junction and Warren Street, north side, from 9:30pm until 7am, you can find Maria selling her Salvadoran pupusas. She’s an anomaly on Roosevelt Avenue, the only Salvadoran vendor I know of.

Yes, there are pupusas, and they are great — But I LOVE the horchata she sells. One of the only places you can find Real horchata, and not the powdered genus variety.
